I’m running for the Board of Education because I’m deeply committed to creating an exceptional educational experience for every student in District 112. My vision focuses on academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, and community engagement—three pillars that will guide my work to strengthen our schools, enhance trust, and generate results for our community.
-
Academic Outcomes
I believe that every student deserves access to high-quality, inclusive educational programs that both challenge and support them. My priorities include:
Maintaining academic rigor in all programs, including a focus on student engagement, fundamentals, and enhancement of enrichment programs.
Providing teachers with the resources and professional development that help them flourish.
Prioritizing student well-being and mental health to foster growth inside and outside the classroom.
Supporting the District’s efforts to make our Dual Language program the best in the State of Illinois.
-
Fiscal Responsibility
I understand the importance of balancing innovation with financial responsibility. I’m dedicated to:
Ensuring transparency in budgeting and resource allocation.
Advocating for long-term planning that prevents unnecessary tax burdens on residents.
Supporting strategic investments that directly improve the classroom experience while maintaining financial stability.
-
Community Engagement
I know that schools thrive when the entire community works together. I want to foster stronger connections by:
Promoting open communication and collaboration with families, educators, and local stakeholders.
Strengthening partnerships between the school district and the local community
Creating more opportunities for families and community partners to work together to enhance academic outcomes.
